Starting to run out of ideas and growing slightly frustrated/sad. So seems reasonable, the search continues, no fuel smell in engine bay at all, cars on Ethanol so i'd assume i'd have a smell if it was leaking. If you start at 70 psi you cant then add another 20 psi since the pump cant physically flow that. Starting at 43.5 and running 15-20 of boost gets you the pumps max pressure of around 65-70 psi. Tonight going to pull vac line off my regulator and verify that pressure increases, if not then replace the FPR.ĮDIT: Pulled vac line off regulator with car at idle fuel pressure goes up from 51psi to 55psi. The OEM FPR is a 1:1, so for every pound of boost it increases the fuel pressure 1. Looked around for leaks, haven't seen any. Troubleshooting steps so far, pulled fuel pump and inspected o-rings, everything looked good hanger side. Most components were brand new 1300 miles ago, car was on a base map for 1000 miles, fuel pump went on right before the dyno tune as did hardwire kit, car made ~80psi on the dyno fuel pressure wise (target boost is 30psi) and was fine for a few hundred miles after the tune. Car compensates by overworking injectors to compensate for lack of fuel pressure. Base pressure is holding where it should be, pressure doesn't bleed off after car is parked. Issue:Car will not build over 63psi fuel pressure, hits a wall there consistently. Run down of car modifications are in my member journal, parts that matter for this.Ĭar has 18500 miles on it, new motor and boat load of mods went in at 17200.
